The Great Falls Ski & Board club makes revenue through membership dues, our annual Ski & Board Swap, TGR movie nights and various fundraising such as Raise a Pint night.  The Ski & Board Swap fundraiser allows members, as well as the public, to consign their old equipment. We also bring in outside vendors which sell equipment as well. The Swap is held in October at the Trades and Industries building at the fairgrounds.

The Great Falls Ski & Board Club supports the community in various ways including highway cleanups in the summer, donating volunteer time to Showdown and by supporting skier education.

The Club takes yearly ski trips to both in-state and out-of-state resorts. This is one of the greatest ways to meet new members. The club also volunteers to work the famous “Mannequin Jump” contest at Showdown (hosted at the end of the season), in which you build a mannequin to launch off a jump and the mannequin is judged on several factors. We also host a semi-formal dance during the year called “Snowball.” This is a great time to meet people as well, put on your formal clothes (optional) and dance the night away!

During the summer months the Great Falls Ski & Board Club hosts an annual BIG float on the Missouri from Craig to Dearborn, in addition to other river parties.

General Membership meetings are held the 3rd Wednesday from September to April. Meetings are hosted at the Elks Lodge, located at 500 1st Avenue South in Great Falls with dinner being served at 6:15pm. Board meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of every month at the same location at 6:00pm.  You are encouraged to volunteer but it is not required to be in the club.  Volunteers do received one lift ticket voucher to Showdown (limit one per ski season).

Thank you for your time and consideration!
